About Me

I am a first year Ph.D. student in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida. I am very fortunate to working with Dr. Shaun Canavan (my advisor) and others in computer vision and pattern recognition research group. Previously, I was an Adjunct Lecturer of Computer Science and Engineering at International Islamic University Chittagong, Bangladesh. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from International Islamic University Chittagong, Bangladesh in August 2016. My undergraduate research advisors were Professor Tanveer Ahsan and Lecturer (on leave) Md. Azher Uddin. I also worked with Professor Md Monirul Islam and Professor Muhammed Jamshed Alam Patwary in some projects. I love to learn new things and play and watch soccer.

Research Interest

I have a broader interests in artificial intelligence. My current research focuses on machine learning and computer vision in the context of affective computing and robotics.
